Second Grade
First Communion
We would like to thank you for all your hard work and participation throughout the preparation of First Communion. The celebration was beautiful and meaningful for all!
Summer Review
At the primary level, it is very important for students to continue reading and practicing their basic math skills over the summer. The children should practice addition, subtraction, and multiplication (0 and 1 rules, and 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s).
Special Thanks
We would like to thank all of the parents who volunteered to chaperone the zoo trip. Your help is appreciated. We know we will all have a great day!
Thanks to all of our guest readers this year. The children enjoyed the interesting stories and the delicious treats!
We would also like to thank all of the parents that shared their art interests and talents through the Art Appreciation program.
Thanks to our Room Mothers who worked hard preparing a special treat for the children on various holidays.
A Big Thanks!
To all parents for your support and hard work. Taking an active part in your child’s education is very important.
Parent Input
We would like to have your thoughts and opinions about the sacramental preparations for this year. For example, meetings, practices, Jesus Retreat Day, etc.
Please send your ideas to any Second Grade teacher by Wednesday, May 14th.
Reminders
Please make sure that you continue to check the red folders each night and sign the reading log. We will continue to have homework each night until the end of May.
Summer’s Here
Summer’s here! Another year of school
Is at an end. We’ve learned a lot and
Grown a lot and made a lot of friends.
We’ll say goodbye, now summer’s here,
It’s time for us to part. But we’ll remember
All our friends and keep them in our
Hearts.
