The Apostolic Life Commission serves to implement the mission of the Church -
that we, as the Body of Christ, should go forth and make disciples. This
is accomplished through implementing, promoting, and supporting parish programs
which bring the spiritual and corporal works of mercy to life within our parish,
our surrounding community, and our world.
The Apostolic Life Commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM
at the Pastoral Center Conference Room. It coordinates the following groups and
ministries:

The Education Commission serves serves as a consultative body, responsible for
formulating and recommending policies for all areas of education as St. Joseph,
subject to such regulations that proceed from the Diocese of Covington and/or
the Diocesan Board of Catholic Education. Policies are recommended to the parish
for approval.
St. Joseph Education Commission promotes a current, Catholic education that most
effectively meets the needs of the parish. The Commission meets the first
Tuesday of every other month at 7:30 PM in the school Library. It coordinates
the following committees and ministries:

The Music Ministry of St. Joseph Church exists
for the glory of God and for the edification of His people who worship here. We
believe that music is a vital aspect of the celebration of our faith. Our
ministry is for everyone who seeks to share their gifts of time and talent.
Previous singing experience and the ability to read music are not required to
participate in this ministry. Below are descriptions of the choirs and ensembles
at St. Joseph Church.

The Finance Commission monitors expenditures of all other commissions and
ministries as compared to budget. It is responsible for monitoring maintenance
and capital improvements of church properties. Meets third Tuesday, even
months at 7:30 PM in Pastoral Center Conference Room.

Pastoral Council's main responsibilities are to give direction to the parish as
it carries out the mission of the Church, to develop and monitor plans for the
parish which account for the needs of its people, and to discern policies for
the parish which consider the whole of parish life. Pastoral Council works
closely with and through the other main consultative commissions in carrying out
its mission.
Council meets the fourth Tuesday of odd months at 7:00 PM in the Pastoral Center Conference Room. Current members of Pastoral Council are:
Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Servers, Greeters & Gift Bearers
